Property Settlement
After the breakdown of a relationship, whether or not the parties are married
or de facto (not married), there are “loose ends” to tidy up. One of those loose ends is a property settlement – a division of assets,
liabilities and financial resources, including superannuation.
In this seminar we will discuss:
• The division of property after the breakdown of a relationship
• Time limits
• What the term ‘property’ includes
• How agreements are reached both inside and outside of Court
• What is involved in documenting an agreement
We will also have time for a general question and answer session at the end of the seminar.
